Encouraged by the success of the first International Traditional Medicine conference in 2013, OMICS Publishing Group, which yearly organizes over one hundred international conferences worldwide in addition to publishing peer-reviewed open access journals in science, health, and technology, has announced the 2nd International Conference and Exhibition on
Traditional & Alternative Medicine in Beijing, China, on August 25 and 26, 2014.

The 2013 International Conference and Exhibition on Traditional & Alternative Medicine was held December 9 through 11, 2013 in Hyderabad, India, and focused on the  health practices, approaches, knowledge, and beliefs incorporating plant, animal, and mineral-based medicines, spiritual therapies, manual techniques, and exercises applied in the treatment, diagnosis, and prevention of disease.

The vision of Traditional Medicine-2014 is to promote the natural practices and therapies applied in traditional Chinese medicine, integrating herbal medicine, acupuncture, exercise, massage, and dietary therapies, and to conduct international training workshops and symposiums on therapeutic practices that have as their aim the balance between yin and yang, believed in traditional Chinese medicine to be the key to good health.
